Dr Emily is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with public appointments in the advanced laparoscopic units at Northern Health and the Royal Women’s Hospital. She is a recognised expert in endometriosis, having completed a two-year fellowship with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) Society, equipping her with advanced surgical skills to treat all stages of the condition.

An award-winning researcher, Dr Emily focuses on improving patient comfort during gynaecological procedures. Her randomised controlled trial on methoxyflurane (‘the green whistle’) has been cited in best-practice guidelines worldwide.

She completed her medical degree at The University of Melbourne in 2009 and gained her specialist credentials in 2018 after training at the Royal Women’s Hospital, with rotations across Australia and New Zealand.

Beyond medicine, she enjoys taking on big challenges, from sewing and crosswords to creating elaborate cakes.
